REPA First Annual Reunion
September 4th to 6th, (Wed-Fri),
2019 Special REPA Lifetime Appreciation Award Presented to Captain Jim Holder

The EAL Radio Show sends our Congratulations to Jim as REPA announcement of Surprise Award given Jim at the very last of portion at the Banquet Dinner on Thursday Evening.

As you can imagine , this honor and award  was a big surprise and done so by Bud Robbins, Former REPA President and now Vice President.  He made a nice presentation to Jim...a surprise to no end!!!! He was given the very first REPA Lifetime Appreciation Award.

It was an extremely beautiful large glass structure with ALPA, American Trans Air, Eastern Air Lines and Retired Eastern Pilot Association engraved on it. Bud too, listed Jim's ALPA and REPA History in the presentation which included his 15 or so years service as Member, and later Chairman of the ALPA Appeal Board, including becoming Chairman Emeritus upon Jim's departure. Most members have never heard about the Appeal Board but it is the highest Authority in ALPA.  At the conclusion (Jim was speechless, probably for the first time ever) they gave him a standing ovation.

We at the EAL Radio Show were honored to be able to bring this news to our listeners and members. We., of course, love Jim and all that he has done for all of the organizations listed, as well as our own program that he contributes to weekly.

So happy for you Jim, very proud and you are really deserving of such an honor.

Thank you for all you do!

Captain Neal Holland and his team of Radio Show Hosts.

REPA Eastern Reunion is planned Wednesday, September 4 and Thursday, September 5, departing on Friday,  September 6 in Atlanta, GA. More info on the REPA website:

A Message from our REPA President

2019 REPA President Johnny Steinmetz requested that we inform all that REPA will be having a convention of sorts in 2019…

As we have reported before it most likely will not be in the same format as before, the full blown three days and all of that…

At this time Johnny is working on the location and dates, which he hopes to have finalized in a month or so…
