Auburn Scholarship Correspondence 2019

A Scholarship In Memory of........

Hi, Jennifer. Here are the ways to donate along with contact numbers. It is great that your Mom and Dad, Captain and Mrs. Don Teel, wish to donate to a very worthwhile cause. And it will preserve the Eastern legacy forever Neal
Ways to Donate:
STOCK GIFTS
By donating common stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and other appreciated securities, donors may also receive tax benefits that include avoiding long-term capital gains tax and obtaining deductions for their annual income tax filing. In most cases, donors can maximize their contribution through gifts of stock by transferring these appreciated securities to the Auburn University Foundation directly, rather than liquidating them first and donating the proceeds of that sale to the foundation.
Before directing a transfer agent to transfer a stock gift to the foundation, contact an Auburn Fund staff member by calling (334) 844-1179 or emailing aubfund@auburn.edu to learn how best to expedite your donation.
BY CHECK
A check is a
common way to provide a gift to Auburn. Please make your check
payable to “Auburn University Foundation.” Also, please note Retired Eastern
Airline Pilot Endowment on the memo line of your check. Checks should be
mailed to:

Hi Neal,
My mom talked to you last week at the REPA convention to get information on making a donation to the Auburn University scholarship. She is wanting to make a donation from her financial accounts.
Could you please email her the information – I have copied their email on this note, but their email is don_teel@earthlink.net.
Thanks,
Jen
Neal,
Captain Hoyt D. Davis sent me his dues check for $80 and wanted $40 of it sent to the The Retired Eastern Pilots Scholarship Foundation & Auburn University.
I credited the $40.00 to REPA Kitty Fund and then sent the attached check to Auburn.
Jerry
Note: Hoyt sends the gift in memory of Captain Joe Stewart.
